How do I get an appointment?
When you contact InWell through our website, email, or by phone, an office administrator will reach out to you to schedule the first appointment. During this call, the administrator will gather insurance information, general information, and assign you to a therapist. Depending on client needs and clinician availability, it may take two to four weeks to schedule an initial appointment. Evening and weekend slots are often booked due to high demand.
What can I expect from the first appointment?
At your first appointment, you will fill out paperwork. It's beneficial to arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete paperwork. During this appointment, you will meet with a therapist for an intake. The therapist will gather relevant information such as medical history, reason for treatment, and client strengths. The therapist will then assist the client in creating a treatment plan and set the first appointment.
Do you offer medication management services?
We have psychiatrists on staff who are able to provide medication evaluations and medication management services. InWell does not offer medication only services; clients must attend a minimum of three appointments and consistently engage in therapy. Balances must be paid in full prior to engaging with psychiatry.
Can you help with my insurance?
Yes! InWell has a healthcare navigator on staff who can help clients explore plans on the healthcare marketplace and determine their benefits. Our navigator can also help with Medicaid and medicare applications.
